What is so good about our filtration system, and why is it better?
Our filtration process is specifically chosen to preserve the natural protein structure of the protein and immunoglobulins. It does not denature or alter the protein structures like acid or hydrolysis treatment. Our protein filtration system allows us to successfully derive a 85% protein concentrate that exhibits the nutritional macro-nutrient profile of an Isolate, yet we still preserve the protein structure and the immunoglobulin peptides.*

All of our whey comes from the United States of America.
Why is there Lactase in the Protizyme if it's lactose free?
We include Lactase in our proprietary enzyme complex due many of our consumers choosing to mix Protizyme in milk. We have to account for an enzyme to assist with this breakdown of lactose sugar.*
Can I cook with Protizyme?
Yes, but do not exceed 350 degrees, and do not cook for extensive periods of time.
If I have allergies toward any type of nuts, can I use Protizyme?
Yes and no. You can use all Protizyme flavors with the exception of Peanut Butter Cookie.
What makes it so expensive?
We use a highly expensive microfiltration process that yields a unique 85% Whey Concentrate with the Immuglobulin peptides preserved. The protein is perfectly preserved in this process, making for a protein that absorbs digests and absorbs with greater ease and efficiency than all other proteins. Protizyme is also available in a range of delicious flavors that are sure to blow away competing supplement brands in taste. The better question is, “why are all of the other proteins on the market so cheap?!”*
What do the percentages mean in the ingredient profile for the immunoglobulins?
These percentages are the percentages of the different immunoglobulin peptides composed in Protizyme protein.*
Why is the cholesterol so high?
The cholesterol is the natural occurring cholesterol level remaining after microfiltration process to preserve the immunoglobulin protein peptides which are critical growth factors in Protizyme. This cholesterol is needed to preserve these critical protein peptide structures, as well as aid in the formation of healthy hormone production.*
Why do we use sucralose instead of something natural like Stevia?
Sucralose was used as a sweetener due to its high impact sweetness factor. This allows us to use significantly less of this sweetener than other comparable sweeteners. Metabolic Nutrition also develops it own flavor system for its products so we were able to use significantly less Sucralose than other companies and still derive a very “natural” taste characteristic. Based on this, we use 1/1000 less sweetener than other comparable formulas. As compared to other natural sweeteners, such as Stevia, we would have had to use upwards of 10,000 times the amount of Stevia to produce the same sweetness level. That would have come at a cost in terms of price of product (higher), bad or chemical off notes, and significant digestive issues (especially in our bariatric patients).*
Are the cows grass fed and growth hormone free?
Yes. All of the cows that source our whey are grass fed and are growth hormone free.
What are the peptide benefits of Immunoglobulins?
These ultra small peptides are usually referred to the “magic” of Mother’s milk. They are the components of Mother’s milk that aid in boosting recovery rate, building of lean muscle mass, fortify your immune system, increase growth hormone levels, and aid in macro nutrient assimilation.*
What are Lecithin, Xanthan Gum, and Guar Gum used for?
These ingredients are used to help make sure Protizyme is well dissolved and consistent in flavor when mixed with either milk or water. These stabilizers help maintain a homogeneous blend of all the ingredients when mixed in water, thus keeping Protizyme the same from the 1st sip to the last.*
How is it ideal for bariatric patients?
Protizyme is ideal from Bariatric patients as it can be taken in as little as 6 ounces of water and still enable the patient to have ease in digestion and absorption. It also provides 33 percent of the recommended RDA for vitamins and minerals per scoop, which can greatly assist the diminished ability to absorb V/M from food. It also provides T.A.G. glutamine to help preserve muscle mass in the bariatric patients which is critical as they want their rapid weight loss to come from fat not muscle.*
What are the benefits of the digestive enzyme blend?

Why am I not getting the same amount of scoops as servings per container stated?
When you scoop, you may actually be yielding a scoop weight of 35 – 40 grams as opposed to the label serving size of 35 grams. The scoop we provide is developed to provide the best average and consistent weight per scoop, but it is an approximation.*
Why does the grams of protein per serving change flavor to flavor?
Some flavors have a slight effect on protein inclusion, causing a minor protein difference from flavor to flavor.*
Are the products Parve?
No. Whey protein comes from dairy, and even though it is not considered a dairy protein, we still do not consider it Parve certified.*
Are the products kosher?
Do any products contain animal byproduct?No.*
